That was easy. Okay.

Welcome to the blog-o-sphere that is Yet Another Movie Blog (YAMB, for short), a blog for self-proclaimed movie geeks and n00bs alike. I posted a short intro before, but I thought it would be good to reintroduce myself, now that I am no longer doing a “Solo” blog.

As much as I would like to take credit for creating the blog, the idea was planted by one whiny, I mean, brilliant person (also a writer here), Nate S. This blog would not be possible without his persistent nagging, I meant, encouragement.

Also, within 30 minutes of this blogs inception, I already felt overwhelmed. I was very thankful when six great, wonderful friends heard the call and happily joined the blog team.

So... Why did I decide to create and assemble a blog team solely about movies and films and all things cinema? Well, I love movies. All sorts of movies. From action flicks to drama to chick flicks to comedy to dramedy to the downright insane, I have probably followed them at some point in my lifetime. I am very passionate about the films I choose. Some of them are quite popular, some not-so-well-known, and some just plain critically trashed. No matter. I love ‘em. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not all “lovey-dovey” with all films either. I rant and rave and whine and cry about them too. This blog creation becomes a platform to project my ideas and feelings about movies. And I hope you enjoy following YAMB, as much as I did making it.
